The written word is my passion. A savvy copywriter, proofreader and editor, nothing makes me happier than crafting articles, blogs and online blurbs.

With a B.A. in English and Comparative Literature, featuring an emphasis on Literary and Cultural Studies, I pursued my education at the University of Cincinnati, finetuning my literature knowledge and writing skills.

After graduation, I leaped into the world of journalism. I served as Editor for a trade publication geared toward package designers -- editing copy, writing articles, conducting interviews, managing product sections and prepping for trade shows.

The next chapter of my career journey as a professional writer shifted toward copywriting as an in-house Creative. I've served as Copywriter for luxury home brand, Frontgate; women's apparel retailer, Soft Surroundings; plumbing manufacturer, Elkay; and pharmacy retailer, Walgreens. Crafting web copy, social media posts, brochure and catalog copy; naming products; conducting brainstorms; and performing research are just a few of the tasks I complete as Copywriter.

In my spare time, I enjoy perusing my local independent bookstore for great reads and taking my dogs on hikes.
